Welcome to the Marmalade Schools. A group of wonderful nurseries in London.

Founded in 2004 by Mrs Rozzy Hyslop, Marmalade Schools is a family of six nursery schools located in London.  Our growth has been supported by our wonderful families and Marmalade communities that are created around each of our schools.  The popularity and strength of Marmalade Schools is down to our exceptional team who are talented early years specialists and dedicated to the Marmalade ethos of ensuring the best for every child who joins one of the nursery schools.

Our children are taught by dedicated teachers, who give each child the best opportunity to develop both holistically and academically through the benefit of high adult to child ratios and an enriching curriculum. We ensure that all our children benefit from varied and well-directed early learning opportunities through their involvement in a wide range of practical and educational activities. We follow traditional standards with contemporary concepts and have created a curriculum which is bespoke to Marmalade Schools.  
 

This curriculum ensures that all our children make excellent progress throughout their time with us.  We also believe in the importance of laying the foundations for good manners, cultural diversity, knowledge, sociability, and the tools to become resilient learners.  Indeed, to be surrounded by children from all over the world is a privilege and our pupils regularly benefit from the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our community.  We believe that every child is unique and has something very special to offer.  We aim to help the children to build up resilience, to become self-motivated learners, to be confident in their own abilities, learn in many different ways and to extend and develop their own ideas.  

Marmalade Schools want to give your child the very best nursery education and a platform to continue to discover their natural and ever-increasing curiosity about the world in which they live.  We are confident that all our children will be happy, confident, challenged, and able to reach their potential with us academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. All the Marmalade Schools are truly special, and places where parents build friendships for life.  The teachers relish the opportunity to get to know and understand every one of our children and to watch them thrive and flourish and simultaneously working alongside our parents remembering their role as educators too.

Miss Rozzy has worked in education for over 30 years initially in Primary/Prep Schools, tutoring children with Dyslexia but the majority has been spent in the Early Years.  Miss Rozzy proudly opened The Marmalade Cat for her youngest son Orlando in 2004 and from there the Marmalade Schools journey began.  Miss Rozzy is passionate about children and creating inspiring environments to extend their learning.

Miss Rozzy works alongside a strong and competent management team who ensure that the children at Marmalade Schools receive the finest Early Years teaching and have the skills to develop a real love of learning.  As the group of nurseries have grown so has the talented Marmalade team.  Where many of the staff joined as assistants and teachers they have been trained further and some are now leading our schools or are SENCOS.  Miss Rozzy highly values her team and believes that they ensure that the Marmalade ethos, values, and passion are promoted.
